Learning Disabilities Association of Canada Teacher PD Day: A Day in the Life

Students withe Learning Disabilities struggle with more than Reading, Writing and Math.

Everyday presents them with continual challenges as they try to maneuver through their school day. Join us as we look at a school day through the lens of an LD student with executive functioning difficulties that we as teachers may not always see. There will also be a focus on Reading, Spelling and Math difficulties.

You will gain new insights and practical strategies to use immediately in the classroom.

There will also be a slide show presentation and a booklet of strategies.

So sit back in the comfort of your home with a cup of coffee as we work together to help you help students!

To register for the session (1-2 minutes):

1) Login to My Education Room
2) Click on the Home or Education Centre Tab (top of page) & click on the featured LDAC PD Day lesson
3) Click "Take this Lesson" and pay for the session using Interac, Visa or Mastercard
4) On the day of the conference simply login to My Education Room and access the session from your dashboard

If you do not have a My Education Room account:

1) On the home page click "Create Account"
2) Join My Education Room for free & for member type choose "Teacher"
3) Check your email to verify your account (anti-spam measure)
4) Login to My Education Room using your new username and password
5) Follow the steps above
