We had a glimpse of Blizzard’s forthcoming massively multiplayer role-playing game called WoTLK Gold, on the floor of E3. The game will feature five racdwarves orcs human, tauren, the night elves, and other creatures. The warrior, the mage, and the shaman had also been covered in the past. However, three brand new classes will be showcased in this year’s E3 The hunter, warlock, and the Druid.

We started by playing around with the female night elf hunter. The character we played with had the double-bladed weapon, like the one employed by the demon hunter on the game World of Warcraft. Also, she had a bow strapped on her back to make ranged attacks. The most intriguing feature of a hunter is her ability to fight animals, using a technique known as beast controlling. This lets you pacify almost any animal that you encounter within the game (provided your level of beast-taming is sufficient for the animal you are pacifying) However, you can have just one pet at one time. The pet will be with you for as long as you’d like, or until it ends its life.

While you embark on your adventures the pet will grow in levels and gain new abilities, just like you can. Because your pet’s abilities increase as time passes, when you encounter larger enemies during battle, you may be forced to leave a long-time partner to acquire a new pet with more longevity potential. Hunters also possess several characteristics that can be used to keep the pet they love, like the ability to heal them, and also quickly alter their behavior by selecting from a variety of choices (aggressive as well as passive and other) by clicking on their icon under your portrait at the top left corner of your screen.

Apart from being able to stay current knowledge, hunters are skilled in ranged attacks. They also have several passive abilities such as their own true shot aura which can give hunters advantages in combat range.
