Looking to buy a digital writing drawing tablet for teaching physics online

To give you some background, I’m a university teacher used to teaching with a standard old-school blackboard or whiteboard, I’ve also worked with digital whiteboards installed on our university’s classrooms.

With the quarantine (and considering the possibility of it extending in time), I’m hoping to be able to upload material to my university’s online campus so that my students can follow my course through the internet. I’m thinking primarily of screen-capture videos of myself going through physical explanations and the associated (usually intensive) math. I’ve discarded the option of recording myself in front of a black/white-board because I feel the image quality (resolution) for the writing on the board will not be enough.

That’s why I’m considering buying a XP-PEN Graphics Tablet (without a screen, because the ones with a screen are rather expensive for me). I know I could do this with an Ipad Air, for instance, but that is also way too expensive for me. I know also that XP-PEN tablets are oriented or usually employed in digital art, and most review videos online only describe their performance in relation to this kind of use. One option I was considering was XP-Pen Deco 01 .

So my question is: have you guys ever used XP-PEN tablets (or any other brand for the case) for writing notes or math? If so, can you recommend any particular model?

Thanks in advance for all your help.
