JAGEX knows you’d have to be addicted

You believe this because you created a ignorant assumption of how a better system could be implemented. It is sad how you truly do not understand there could be a better system.You once again come across the problem of relevancy. $2 isn’t that much money on a large scale with RuneScape gold, but it’s still $2 more than it should be. Many games do the same things better, for free, so why do I pay?On the subject of grinding, do not make me laugh. Please don’t; I am already laughing too hard at you as it is.Half of grinding to exceptionally high levels is still too large. Not to mention you have just inadvertently proven among my arguments, that the game is trickle feeding you less and less content. The later levels should give you far more content each degree, as they take considerable more time to grind (that does not make them necessarily tougher, mind you).

But they don’t, since JAGEX knows you’d have to be addicted already for to 92. I never argued the quests were bad. I finished nearly every quest I could when played, it was my primary motivation. They’re”good”, likely the best aspect of this game. Mind you, why the quests are so great is because Runescape does not actually have a major quest narrative line to follow, and can be a lot more liberal with it is layout. Slayer remains a mill it’s one of the tedious skills. For the record, my preferred skill was dungeoneering, because it tricked me into believing I was playing with a different, better game. And it became a grind after ~40. If you think anything’s not a grind following 40, OH BOY you’re mistaken. But I’m not going to define”grind” right today.

You’re right, the combat system is not deep. That is unsuitable if a game has 5 stats dedicated to it completely (and many stats ), they need to have made it even more intriguing. They did not have to add activity bars, they could have had, for example, skill shots.As for the D&D contrast, I really GM to get a group of 5 individuals. Runescape’s RNG is just nothing like the RNG in D&D. It is in D&D primarily to stop things from devolving to:”I hit it.” “No you do not.” Etc. It works because you’re never fighting other gamers, so it is fair. And moreover, the party shouldn’t be taking on a fight that could get them killed with a few dice rolls. And of course I can fudge dice rolls to make things but a game shouldn’t be doing that.

But RNG that widespread has no place in PVP. It’s one of the reasons why there is such a very low ability ceiling.It is true that I never did competitive PVP, but I did see a lot of PVP on the occasion that I would loot dead bodies in the wilderness, or the duel arena. It is static to buy OSRS gold. You just stand there, and no quantity of ability will alter that.I can still comprehend PVP problems the exact same way somebody can comprehend sports problems: Seeing somebody else that has put time in performing high-level drama. I still watch Runescape on YouTube and that includes PVP. Yeah, I think it’s horrible. When the highest level players still stand there and slap each other, always complaining about random numbers being too big or small, you know your combat system is dull.
