Troubleshooting of rotary vane vacuum pump

If the rotary vane vacuum pump is not operated properly, it will often present some defects, such as vacuum drop, oil injection, smoke, oil leakage at oil seal, noise, and emulsification of vacuum pump oil in the pump. In case of such a situation, first of all, there is no need to panic. After the shutdown, clean up one by one according to the shortcomings. Here are some ways to eliminate shortcomings.

Rotary vane vacuum pump smoke and fuel injection: refers to rotary vane vacuum pump in operation, exhaust port smoke or fuel injection. The assumption is that the pump has just started to run, there is smoke phenomenon, belongs to normal, if the long time in smoke is abnormal. The way to deal with it: smoke indicates that the air inlet of the pump, including pipes, valves and containers, has been repaired. After leak detection, the smoke will end.

Vortex flowmeter fuel injection, indicating that there are a lot of leakage points outside the intake port, so that the air inlet is exposed to the atmosphere. Treatment: seal the air inlet of the pump to make the pump run. If there is no oil injection, it indicates that there is leakage; if the exhaust valve plate is damaged, check whether the exhaust valve plate can be damaged and replace the damaged exhaust valve plate. Rotary vane vacuum pump noise: here refers to the noise of the pump.

Knock the cylinder, pump operation when issued irregular sound, like metal knock metal sound. This is the sound of the rotating plate hitting the pump body. This situation is mainly caused by the spring break or contraction or pop-up failure between the pairs of rotating blades. Solution: turn on the pump to check whether the spring can be damaged. Replace the spring. Exhaust valve noise, mainly due to pump exhaust valve plate damage. Disposal way: change the good exhaust valve piece.
